Nick's favor

So, last night while I was at Word Works, Nick had some aggression that needed to come out... so he signed up for a MA (Martial Arts) class. He came home late- and black and blue! I've never seen bruises so dark on him before- OUCH! For the last few weeks, Cipriani has been telling him how he missed out because the teachers have a "love" for the guys who have been going and he prophesied that he and those guys wouldn't have to pay much once they decided to start charging and urged Nick to go next time. It seemed to us that Nick missed the window of opportunity and we'd have to pay full-price when that came about. But, no. God is so much bigger than that! (Of course!)

The assistant teacher just HAPPENS to be one of the guys he was locked up with back in the day who Nick helped out by communicating for him when he couldn't speak (because of some fight he was in or something). This guy told Nick last night that he's "family" and he knew he would see him one day and be able to "pay him back" for his help. Guess what that means? No time was lost at all! Nick gets the same discount as the other guys- and really, favor in being taught some things that few people will get to learn.

It's so like God to take something that Nick has been so passionate about for so long and show Himself big yet again. When it looked like things just couldn't work in the natural, God stepped in and showed that He had His hand on it the whole time. :o)
